Announcing Changes to our Ideas Exchange
Hey everyone! Here with some exciting news about our Ideas Exchange on the Community Forum. Our Ideas Exchange is a place for you to make suggestions to improve our software and to vote on other members ideas that matter to you. It provides a great space for community feedback that our product teams can use to identify and prioritise improvements to our software. Earlier in the year. we upgraded our Community Forum and asked for feedback from you all on what else we could do to improve. After reading through it, we've identified a few opportunities to enhance your experience. What we’ve heard: Why would I post in the Ideas Exchange? It’s not going to do anything. There are so many ideas from years ago that have never been acknowledged or actioned. Does MYOB even listen to or read these ideas? I would rather MYOB tell me if it's going to be done or not than sit around for years with no update. What we’ve done: We’re creating a new Ideas Exchange that will be easier for you to post, find and vote on ideas that matter to you. 50 of the top trending ideas that have been posted and voted on by our community members over the years will be reposted in our new Ideas Exchange. Just because we're starting fresh doesn't mean we're forgetting it all! We’ve read through your posts in our current Ideas Exchange and have been working to ensure your insights are brought across to our teams and valued in our ongoing conversations to improve. We’ve been able to reignite and formalise a process that will ensure we have a strong product feedback loop with you all and our product teams once we go live with our new Ideas Exchange. What you can expect: October 30th: Our current Ideas Exchanges for MYOB Business and AccountRight will be set to read-only. We will not be accepting new ideas for the next 2 weeks whilst we work on moving all your existing suggestions to our product teams. If any ideas come to mind during this time, please keep a note of them. We’ll have a new one for you to share them in soon! 12th of November: Our new Ideas Exchanges will go live with reposted trending ideas visible for you all to vote on. You will also be able to begin posting your ideas as soon as it's live! Let me know if you have any further questions! Cheers, Amanda

Hi all, 100,000 Registered Members!!! What a fantastic way to kick start 2017!!! Hope you all had a wonderful break and a great start to the new year! I’ve been away from the forum and Australia for the past five weeks. Had to have an extended break due to some unforeseen circumstances. Exciting to come back to this mega milestone!! MYOB Community Forum - July in review
July was a successful month for the MYOB Community Forum as we continue to work towards making the forum an incredible resource to our staff, visitors, members and customers. July is always a busy month with the end of financial year in Australia so naturally we saw some increase in things like visits to the forum and posts made. A quick shout out to a couple of MYOB Staff who jumped in to help answer questions. The return of SupportNoteGuy and Ron_T was great to see. Together these two made 87 replies/answers to questions in the community. Thank you! Some highlights are shown below An equally huge thank you to these contributors, users and supporters of the MYOB Community Forum gavin12345 Mike_James mikejenkin cml-72702968 LPGMTAccounts Sovauto Sam_LR If anyone has feedback about their experience in the MYOB Community Forum, please do not hesitate to send me or AmandaMYOB a private message so we can work to improve. Cheers, Mike!

What to expect in the new Community Forum
Hi everyone, Following our earlier announcement about the Community’s move to a new platform a in early November, we wanted to share what will feel different once you’re in, and just as importantly, what won’t change. What’s staying the same Your account and history: You’ll sign in with the same email, password and username you use today. Your profile history, including your posts, likes, votes and comments, will transfer across. The spaces you know: Product help discussions, news and announcements, and the ideas exchange will all continue as core parts of the Community. What’s new or different Emoji reactions: Beyond the “like”, you’ll be able to react to posts with a range of emoji, making it easier to show agreement, thanks or appreciation. Search that includes help content: When you search for a topic, relevant MYOB help page results will now appear alongside Community discussions, so you can find answers from both in one place. Replies and comments: When you reply directly to another member’s comment, your reply will display differently to what we are used to in this forum. You may notice some threads look a little different as a result. Start a new post: Back by popular demand! The ability to start a new post will be available in more locations (nearly every screen). This was something that the community forum used to offer, and for the last 2-ish years has not been possible.Yay! Two things we’d suggest when you first sign in Add a profile image. It helps other members recognise you in discussions. Review your notification preferences. Check that you’re getting updates about the topics and conversations you care about, and at the frequency you want. We’ll publish a welcome guide with step-by-step instructions for both when the new Community launches in early November. We’ll share another update next week with dates and timings. In the meantime, if you have questions, feel free to reply below and we’ll get back to you. Thanks for being part of the Community, Mike Community Manager, MYOB
