Moving the Document Manager file store to a network location
Hi I have a standalone MYOB AO setup. I'm wanting to move the Document Manager File Store to a network folder. I note that when running the DM_Config utility, it says the location must be a local folder and not a network location. To get around this (rightly or wrongly), I've simply mounted a network folder as a drive and point the DM_Config utility at it. It accepts the setting fine however, when I attempt to add a file to DM, it errors out saying "Cannot save file to the File Store after 3 attempts. Reason: Could not find a part of the path '<file store location I gave it>\<folder name MYOB creates>'. File <file i'm adding>. The file remains checked out, please try again later." So it begs the question, can one actually use a network location as the DM File Store? If so, what settings need to be changed to allow for this? I note that this could be done by saving to an iSCSI target however, our implementation requires a network share. Thank you.Forbidden to Access This Resource
Hi. Apologies, I'm not sure where this should go. I'm a MYOB partner, and use myob.com to log into My MYOB Practice. This morning I cannot do so. I get a message saying "Sorry, but it looks like you are forbidden to access this resource." Can someone please tell me why this has happened? I need to log in to service my clients...SolvedMultiple tabs in Compliance
Has anyone worked out how when in Compliance area you can have multiple tabs showing for clients you are working on. Rather than having to go back to the Compliance "Home Page" all the time to open an additional one. (Like if you want associated people open at same time). Or a way to keep the "Home Page" available all the time.MYOB MAS Reporter logo black
Hi - when we print from MAS reporter to PDF manager - our logo comes up as a black square - this is only happening to half the office and has only just started a few days ago. Logo is under the size limit. If you export report to word and print from pdf to there it works ok. Can you advise what we need to do to fix this? Thank youSolvedUnhandled exception has occurred in your application. PDF Manager.
This was a post - unhandled exception - someone made three years ago. It doesn't say what the solution was but its still occuring with version 1.8. We have had the exact same issue in that any scanned document cannot be rotated. PDF manager will rotate other pdf files as long as they have not been scanned. We get the same issue on two different pcs and using two different HP printers That thread is closed but I would like to know what the solution was. MYOB tech people have been working on this issue for nearly two weeks and still no resolution yet. I also scanned a document directly from the printer to a USB drive and copied it to the watchfolder in case there was an issue with the networth path, but still get the same issue.
