Community Forum - July in review
Another month down. This time it was Australian end of financial year, typically the busiest time for MYOB and our customers. Please join me in celebrating some of the successes of the forum, its members and its moderators. The main highlights are above We had a 10% increase in member registrations and a similar 11-12% increase in new discussions and replies in the forum. Overall this helps to show that during our busiest month, many visitors and members are able to find the information they need without posting a new question - love this! There are a couple of new names in the Member & Moderator highlights! AmandaMYOB , Princess_R and Mike_James are definitely not new names. These three continue to be an amazing force in the forum moderating discussions, replying to posts and giving advice. Thank you! The new names here are: Dave6 - joined the forum 3 years ago but in July appears to have rejoined us with energy! 20 visits to the forum, viewing 337 different posts. I'm glad to have you back with us, if you have any feedback on the forum, please reach out to me. The other new name was Julie_A_C Julie joined the Community forum 15 years ago! She is a Bookkeeper based in WA with 30 years experience and has been a partner with MYOB for 25 years. in July, Julie visit the forum 7 times but made a fantastic 16 replies to our other members, sharing her advice and expertise. New content for our members New content this time is mostly targeted towards our Accountants and Bookkeepers in the community We have a new board for information about supporting customers using Solo by MYOB. Hi everyone! June was a big month for the MYOB Community Forum and really shows the the end of financial year in Australia is upon us! We had 158 thousand people visit the forum in June, a HUGE 409% increase! As well as an increase to new posts, replies and ideas. The digital town square is thriving 🎉 Some Community member/moderator shout outs to begin AmandaMYOB - She absolutely smashed through some of our moderation backlog and viewed more than 12,000 posts during the month of June! WOW She also replied to community members 33 and authored 16 solutions Princess_R - had the highest number of moderator replies, answering 74 questions, staying active with 116 visits and was able to have 6 responses updated as solutions. Mike_James - an MYOB Partner and long term community member has continued to be key to our forums success. Visiting the forum 42 times last month, writing 29 responses to other members and authoring 2 solutions - Thank you Mike! cramptons - an MYOB Customer was very active on the Forum last month, with 71 visits and 37 responses. ChrisMc - an MYOB Staff member has also continued to help our community members which is wonderful to see. With 27 visits and 14 replies. As an Accountant, Chris is often in a unique position to be able to provide answers to questions that MYOB cannot. We really appreciate all of your support Chris! Find it here Member and Moderator Highlights Thank you to the superstars out there who participate in the community, answer questions, suggest ideas and make the community a great space for all. AmandaMYOB is amazing at supporting and developing this community for all. With a lot of her work happening behind the scenes. For example, in May, she viewed a massive 5,691 posts, ensuring that the information we have here in the forum is up to date and aligns with our community guidelines Princess_R is part of the fantastic moderation team who are here helping provide answers to questions, or provide guidance when a different type of help may be needed. Mike_James continues to be a Community Hero. He is an avid & active user of the community forum and has an incredible knowledge of our software. Always offering help to others, I salute you! ChrisMc has been a Community for 6 years but over the last 8 months has become more active here at helping other members. Chris is a small business accounting subject matter expert and an MYOB staff member. MMC_Convert joined this community 2 years ago, but only recently started jumping in to help answer member questions, and we love that! MMC Convert are a business partner to MYOB offering services for converting and migrating software Seeing so many different parts of the community feature here is what a community forum is all about, different people coming together to share their expertise, ask questions, solve problems and share ideas. Seeing moderators, combined with members, staff and partners all feature in the highlights shows the value of this community and how we all come together to help THANK YOU ALL! Hello community! September has seen some changes in results for the forum. There are positives to be taken and there are also signs of areas to improve. There was a big reduction in pages/posts viewed in the forum last month. 22% lower than the previous month. BUT what is interesting is that there was only a 2% reduction in the number of posts made AND pages viewed per visit is still increasing. The number of replies per post also reduced last month which is a good indication that our community members and our moderators are able to provide answers with less replies (ideally 1 reply) Mike_James and gavin12345 continue to be our most engaged community members based on the number of replies they have made to others here on the forum. But in other areas like the number of visits to the forum, number of likes given and the number of posts viewed, there are some newcomers. Thank you to LisaMPW , jballiono , jlpatch , astonkoedyk and JWorkright for your time on the forum in September. Hello community! August was a great month for our community forum. Overall, there was an 11% reduction in the number of page views on the forum (compared to July) but we always expect July to be the busiest month with end of financial year in Australia so we are still showing a good upward trend in use of the forum. There were also more members willing to jump in and ask questions which is fantastic, we saw a 36% increase in forum discussions with 871 new posts. Our resident superstars continue to be the top contributors when it comes to replies made, visits to the forum and posts viewed. But we have a couple of new names showing up for likes given. Thank you to everyone for your contributions to this great community. July was a successful month for the MYOB Community Forum as we continue to work towards making the forum an incredible resource to our staff, visitors, members and customers. July is always a busy month with the end of financial year in Australia so naturally we saw some increase in things like visits to the forum and posts made. A quick shout out to a couple of MYOB Staff who jumped in to help answer questions. The return of SupportNoteGuy and Ron_T was great to see. Together these two made 87 replies/answers to questions in the community. Thank you!
