Timesheets and payroll categories
Any updates yet on MYOB providing a way to deselect payroll categories from individual employees that are using timesheets? I don't want to delete the payroll category - there just needs to be a way to deselect it from an employee. I have employees start with us at 15/16 and as they age up they get more and more payroll categories attributed to them. They aren't showing on the payslips once the financial year rolls over (which is great) but it's a nightmare for whoever is processing the payroll. This issue has been around for years, with lots of people requesting help and resolutions and so far no progress.

Payroll Catagories - Make them inactive
Hi, we have alot of payroll catagories that are no longer active as they are under the current award rate (they go back almost 8 years) but as employees used them a long time ago i am unable to remove them from payslips I keep seeing solutions to put zz infront of the catagory but they stil show up on payslips. Some employees have 20 different rates (all old rates) on their payslips so this doesnt work Is there a way to make them inactive so they no longer show on payslips as they will not be used anymore. Clients have been asking MYOB to solve this issue for a long time but it seems that nothing has been done to fix this issue.

Payroll Category for Training
Hi I need to set up a payroll category for a Supervisor to get paid a one off amount of $75 each time she trains an Employee. I would like to know how to set this up in AccountRight Payroll, I believe this would be a Task Allowance for STP2 reporting purposes. Thanks

Import export failing on deduction payroll category
Hello forum! So I've tried everything to get this custom payroll category deduction to work via the import assistant and no matter what I've tried I can't seem to get it to work for this employee on the clear water company file. I always get the error "Error -216: Payroll category not found." when I try to import a timesheet csv seen below. There are NO spaces in the name of the category and I've even tried and can't get it to import correctly with the out of the box deductions payroll category. Please advise what I'm doing wrong? If there is another way around this like adding something under a different category that would work please let me know. I have attached all the necessary photos below. For context we are using an external salary packaing provider which is a benefit provided to charities by the government, they calculate and do the admin for our employees and we want to import a file that updates our myob with those deductions each pay cycle which vary. 0 records imported without errors. 0 records imported with warnings. 1 records skipped. Export/Import payroll categories
Good morning forum members, I am checking if anyone has found a way to export/import payroll categories from one MYOB file to a new company file? Last post was 6 years ago, so hoping there has been an update since. Also looking to import any other payroll related items - superfunds etc. Thank you!
