MYOB Community Forum - July in review
July was a successful month for the MYOB Community Forum as we continue to work towards making the forum an incredible resource to our staff, visitors, members and customers. July is always a busy month with the end of financial year in Australia so naturally we saw some increase in things like visits to the forum and posts made. A quick shout out to a couple of MYOB Staff who jumped in to help answer questions. The return of SupportNoteGuy and Ron_T was great to see. Together these two made 87 replies/answers to questions in the community. Thank you! Some highlights are shown below An equally huge thank you to these contributors, users and supporters of the MYOB Community Forum gavin12345 Mike_James mikejenkin cml-72702968 LPGMTAccounts Sovauto Sam_LR If anyone has feedback about their experience in the MYOB Community Forum, please do not hesitate to send me or AmandaMYOB a private message so we can work to improve. 📌 Pinned Mike G · Community Manager · July, 2026 If you've been wondering when a community update was coming, that would be a fair question. The answer is: it's here now, and from August, I'll be working to post these monthly. Consider this a catch-up and a commitment in one. Here's what the first six months looked like for our community. CH.01 · The numbers The community at a glance Total visits 1.12M Jan – Jun 2026 Page views 1.6M +40% vs prior period New members 3,010 Welcome to all new members CH.02 · Most visited The conversations that defined H1 Every community reflects what its members actually care about. These were the threads that drew the most discussion, and in a lot of cases, they show exactly what's been on your mind this year. 01. Changes to MYOB AccountRight offline mode most visited 13,252 views 02. New Changes to Super – Payday super 3,400 views 03. Secure Invoicing update 2,408 views Some of these threads cover ground that was uncomfortable, and we're ok with that. A community that only surfaces the wins isn't a community, it's a press release. We've been working closely with MYOB's Product and Leadership teams so that the key themes from these conversations are heard. CH.03 · Most discussed Where people had the most to say By reply count — these are the threads where members were talking the most. 01. AccountRight Single Sign-on 94 replies 02. Here's where things stand after H1: In H1 you submitted 247 new ideas to the exchange. If you've ever wondered whether submitting an idea does anything — the short answer is yes. 17 completed ideas in H1 (which is a great improvement on 2025 already). Keep the ideas and votes coming, and we will keep pushing to have them prioritised. 247 new ideas submitted 17 completed 761 open for votes CH.05 · Member spotlight Who was in the room These members were the most present in H1 — by visit frequency and comment activity. Hello community! September has seen some changes in results for the forum. There are positives to be taken and there are also signs of areas to improve. There was a big reduction in pages/posts viewed in the forum last month. 22% lower than the previous month. BUT what is interesting is that there was only a 2% reduction in the number of posts made AND pages viewed per visit is still increasing. The number of replies per post also reduced last month which is a good indication that our community members and our moderators are able to provide answers with less replies (ideally 1 reply) Mike_James and gavin12345 continue to be our most engaged community members based on the number of replies they have made to others here on the forum. But in other areas like the number of visits to the forum, number of likes given and the number of posts viewed, there are some newcomers. Thank you to LisaMPW , jballiono , jlpatch , astonkoedyk and JWorkright for your time on the forum in September. If you have any feedback on the forum or your experience using it, please feel free to add a comment here or send a private message to either me or AmandaMYOB Our moderators kept busy last month as well. Together they viewed more than 5,000 posts and made more than 500 replies. Thank you everyone for being part of the community! Tell your friends - lets make this community bigger and better than ever. Cheers, Mike339Views1like3CommentsMYOB Community Forum - August in review
Hello community! August was a great month for our community forum. Overall, there was an 11% reduction in the number of page views on the forum (compared to July) but we always expect July to be the busiest month with end of financial year in Australia so we are still showing a good upward trend in use of the forum. There were also more members willing to jump in and ask questions which is fantastic, we saw a 36% increase in forum discussions with 871 new posts. Our resident superstars continue to be the top contributors when it comes to replies made, visits to the forum and posts viewed. But we have a couple of new names showing up for likes given. Thank you to everyone for your contributions to this great community.
