Hi Debbo , there are many options available for our customers, not all of these require taking a subscription.
If you only need to access sporadically, then previous versions of PC edition can be downloaded from our website and used offline (but these will automatically update)
If you are regularly using the file, you can install server edition and continue using your files offline, but please note AccountRight Server Edition is not a long-term solution. At some point, this software will be phased out, and the file will need to be moved online. After 17 June 2026, Server Edition will not receive any future feature or security enhancements and will only receive the bug fixes.
If you are regularly using these files, and want to have the latest security and compliance as well as time saving features, then you can continue to use the latest version of AccountRight but from June 17 you must have the file online, which requires a subscription.
Hi MikeMYOB
if we download the Server Edition and use it offline, can it be uploaded to update data in our online version later? Or would any data in the Server Edition need to be re-entered into the online version?
Thanks

Hi vicki , great question.
Server Edition data and files will still be compatible with newer versions of PC edition if you chose to put your file online in the future.- vicki30 days agoExperienced User
Sorry if I'm being a bit stupid.
How will data put into the Server Edition offline file get into the online file if one works offline regularly? In past versions we could work on a file offline, then 'update' the online file to reflect the new data.
