Hey everyone!
Thanks so much for reaching out. We appreciate you taking the time to share feedback on logging into your account to view your bill from February next year. I wanted to provide you with more context on the reason for this move.
MYOB is committed to putting in place measures that protect your personal and financial data. Placing sensitive data behind a secure login helps ensure only authorised users can access this information. This process also allows us to provide accurate, up-to-date billing details and account history all in one place. You will have the opportunity to download your bill in two formats – PDF and CSV – giving you flexibility around the way you receive the information.
We are dedicated to prioritising your privacy and data security, while providing you with data in the format most beneficial to your business.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or need assistance with your account.

Logging onto a company website to retrieve the invoice is a nuisance and time waster. There are many suppliers (Adobe, dodo) doing the same. It requires navigation on various websites with different user interfaces to obtain the invoice required by ATO. I'll add MYOB to my list.
I log in to MYOB with my emailed code after entering email and password. The attached invoice is easy to forward to MYOB tray and enter. Don't change the set up. My email security is my business.

This whole story about protecting our personal data is nonsense, as most people do not consider the information on an invoice to be sensitive data.
If they do then offer an opt-in for them to jump through your hoops of logging in and downloading the invoice.
One thing MYOB seems to have ignored is the legal requirement of needing to provide an invoice. The key word is "provide", as the planned approach isn't providing an invoice, rather it's making one available.
Suggest MYOB go check the various legislation to ensure they comply with the requirement of providing a Tax Invoice and not just on request, as that's what having to login to a portal is, it's a request for the invoice. - George_Tusk3 months agoMember
Hi Amanda, this is an annoying change for the end user. The aggregate man-hours that will be wasted is ridiculous. Who's idea was it to add a layer of administration that impacts every single client?!

So my other suppliers can send me their bills direct into the in tray in the Bills section of MYOB using the email address supplied to me by MYOB....but MYOB can't. Sorry but my brain is about to explode. Like so many others, it's time to take another look at Zero which my accountant has been advising me to change to for a long time.
Please change this decision and instead implement invoices to be sent directly to the in tray. From the standpoint of information sensitivity, only my trusted staff with access to MYOB will be able to see it. And by the way, my MYOB invoice would be one of the least sensitive pieces of information on MYOB.
