Blog Post
I started a stand alone thread around this, simply for the "time out" issue, not 2FA, which was shut down by MYOB and marked as closed. MYOB said as they would not consider the risk they are putting their customers at (by typing a password 10 times per day), and the time wasted by having to manually type an email address, followed by a password, they would not allow the discussion to continue.
I would like to join in the chorus saying this is a dumb idea, putting everyone's business at greater risk, and a massive waste of time.
I would also like to compliment the Overlords at MYOB for shutting down conversations and disappointment from their paying customers, giving priority to the ATO who are better at wasting taxpayers time and money than most.
Keep it up MYOB, the other accounting packages are loving your work.

Hi again JRFisher - thanks for adding your feedback here.
I just want to confirm a couple of points from your post above.
After an inactivity timeout, the email is remembered, so you will only need to enter your password, not both.
With regards to shutting down conversations (there are no overlords, it is just myself and Amanda for the most part) and you can see in this thread alone there are more than 100 comments.
I have taken no steps to block or shut down feedback from customers, but your original request made in the ideas exchange was closed because we know that this is a mandatory change and the ability to 'opt out' is not something we can provide
