So just had my first log out due to being "inactive" even though i was working on the computer, just in other programmes. ANNOYING. But the best part is, typing my password back in (at least the email was there for me) un-blurred it but completely froze everything and wouldn't even let me exit out of MYOB. So yay.
Please make it optional for NZ clients, we are not bound by anything the Australian government requires, we are our own nation with our own government who do not require these changes.

Morning AKLJOINERY , thanks for the post (and congrats on your 10th year as part of this community forum!)
I'm glad that the process of entering the password was not so bad, but definitely not ideal that it froze when you unlocked. I have passed this to the team to look into. We are keeping a close eye on things today as this change goes live- H-TS27 days agoTrusted User
I haven't had the inactivity lockout yet but when I first tried to sign in this morning I couldn't even open a file. It completely froze and I had to use task manager to shut it down. Second attempt was okay, so I'm hoping it was just while the 'update' was being installed? Only providing this comment for the monitoring purposes.
Can I suggest though, that future major changes like this aren't introduced at the end of the month, just in case anything goes wrong? Not that there's ever a good time, but I expect mid-month would be far less stressful with end of month invoicing not needed yet and EOM reporting completed.
EDIT: Jumping back in to say, it's time to reset my MYOB password to something really easy to type which actually is going to reduce security not improve it.
The inactivity bump out actually moved my MYOB half off the bottom of my screen and the sign in again button wasn't even visible until I dragged the popup window up.
