This is a joke I have had to log back in 4 times this morning and the login keeps freezing and throwing me out completely. Its taking forever, presumably because this is happening to the majority of MYOB users..
My sales staff, have no access to banking, payroll, superannuation etc etc and cannot affect anything that is sent to the ATO, have the same problem.
Why did't you only force this requirement onto only those users (eg admin) that can affect ATO data, and leave lower level users out of the forced 20 min logon?
MYOB have taken the easiest option for them and not considered the consequences on those using their system in trying to run their own business.
In the ATO page you refer to it says:
Note: the DSP OSF is not intended to capture the end user who owns the data and does not perform a functional role in the supply chain, such as a business using software to run their daily operations.
You have completely ignored this ATO objective.
Hi ridgeway - we have rolled back the change in AccountRight while we investigate the freezing.
Also the note you have referenced from the ATO page does not apply to MYOB and our software. We have worked in consultation with the ATO to implement these changes in line with expectations and requirements

Why are other software companies not doing this 20-30 minute lockout! only MYOB

So not only do you force on ahead with this stupid, clunky, inefficient, unnecessary change despite the fact its going to cost you customers, you don't even test it properly prior and you make your long suffering user base the beta testers. It gets even better - well done MYOB!!!
