It's crashing all the time since you introduced this "feature."
Why not make this resume optional for each case?

We are aware of issues customers are facing trying to open their files this morning. We have temporarily disabled the inactivity timeout for AccountRight while we look into this and you will need to restart AccountRight to pick up the change. At this point we are unsure if it's related to the inactivity changes but will make sure to update you as soon as I have more information.

Make this "feature" optional for each user to decide. You've stuffed it up yet again.
