Hi PortPhillipBoat , there are a lot of comments here so its easy for information to get lost.
The connection problem is definitely not expected. We dont know if this is directly related to the inactivity changes but we have removed the inactivity timeout from AccountRight while we investigate.
You will need to close and re-open AccountRight to pick up the change that we have removed this
Why haven't you updated the original post with this imformation?

HI Mike,
Please see attached relating to another software company regarding MFA! I would like to know your thoughts on this. The ATO states is you are not using the MFA when logging in, then the inactivity lockout would apply?

Hi Jo15 - I have found the information about Xero on their community forum as well. Those are 2 separate posts and do not mean that 2FA and Inactivity is an either/or situation. It does show that Xero have a longer inactivity period than MYOB at the moment, but (based on that thread) they appear to have had this since 2013. They may be updating it, its hard to say, but I have shared the requirements multiple times "30 minutes (15 is preferred)" and confirmed that MYOB has implemented these changes in consultation with the ATO to ensure that our software and customers are compliant
