Just updated our company file this evening and first impression is 'what the hell is this disaster' and 'is this real or have I been hacked?'. Too many distracting options across the top of each command centre home screen, fonts and setting out with all those bigger longer arrows and bigger plain boxes is not so much a sleek modernised new look as delving into some old square DOS looking system. Home command screen fonts and buttons no longer match fonts and buttons within each individual command screen, and that definitely messes with my OCD. Sorry, don't like it at all and find it slows me down because there's too much going on :-( Abort please!!
Totally agree.....The new update was designed by a child!!!
AmandaMYOB is there anyway users have an option to revert back to the old version????
Honestly the worst update in MYOB history!
The screen is neither user friendly and or pleasant to look at let alone navigate!
Why MYOB just why!
I think who ever was on the design team needs to have his or her qualifications reviewed!
As a user of MYOB for over 30 years this update has possibly confirmed the fact that it is time to change to Xero!

I've been on MYOB for more than 20 years and I dont think Im going to get used to this new Command Centre. Its absolutely horrid and unprofessional looking. Maybe Xero will be a better option.

Absolutely agree ! We have used MYOB Accountright for 26 years and this is the first time it looks like a high school student has designed this with a Ruler on a piece of paper for the visually impaired. Absolutely embarrassing to have this open on our screen in the office. Doesnt look professional at all. I agree, the person who re-designed this, needs to revert it back. Xero is definitely getting closer for us ...

I have an issue where the view buttons are all obscured, like the boxes are too small and the text is just jammed in. Anyone got any ideas?

Absolutely! It is visually confronting and exactly as you say, looks like something from 1999 .... The shortcuts might be useful ... I'd rather see some investment into improving their multi-currency functionality on the cloud version for all the subscription money we are paying them!
100% agree with everything JP65 is saying. The larger font is eye boggling (and gives the impression were back in primary school) and the sales invoice screen is so big it covers nearly the whole "Record" & "Cancel" boxes leaving only abt 1mm to click on it, or else you click the "online" below. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. As well, it consistently times out or doesn't respond. Go back to the version prior. It seems the more MYOB try to improve the less friendly it gets yet the more we pay per month for the subscription. So disappointed.
JP65 - I 100% agree with everything you have said, the command centre is just too busy now! The "key tasks" boxes are just distracting and unnecessary. MYOB, please tell us you are going to take into account all this negative feedback regarding the new update and give us the option to at least remove the key task boxes, or revert back to the old version.

Good design has plenty of 'white' space. This has virtually NO white space.
I do not need or in fact want some of my staff to be able to access these financial reports.
Is MYOB even looking at the Ideas Centre? Was this even something people voted for. It appears that they've 'fixed'something that wasn't even broken. Resources should have been spent on things users have been asking for years. Like a Refresh button in Prepare Bank Deposits!
Agree. I don't think anyone would have a favorable response to the new look of the command centre. Its like MYOB are intent on making the desktop command centre so unattractive, that people will be forced to use the web version just to avoid having to look at this travesty.

Seems like someone was working from home on their Commodore 64 using the turtle commands to design the system.... must be retro week... thought exactly the same things.. have I been hacked...
