I've just seen the new update - and my first impression was also not a good one. I agree with other comments that the layout is ot as user-friendly, with more unnecessary distractions. Icons and headers across the top seem smaller, borders around each option and the direction arrows clutter the view. I then went to process payroll and all my standard pay amounts have gone. I've therefore had to manually enter the hours/pay for each staff.
My vote would be to return to the previous version, and also not add this development episode to the justify the next rate increase (customser don't want to pay for problems).

Eek, that's bad. Fortunately we didn't lose that payroll information, so maybe it's an unrelated issue?
