Please either get rid of this new look command centre or give us the option to remove those quick view boxes. We have 8 employees accessing MYOB and they do not need to see what only 1 person in the office needs to see... a quick view of cash flow, debtors, creditors, p&l, even payroll details!! It's got to go! ps.. this is the first time I have commented on the MYOB forum, that's how triggering this new change is for me, absolutely horrible!
Hi KCrabb
The tiles are based on user access, what your team members see will be based on existing permissions. If you're using shared logins, now is the time to set up individual users for your team. For help setting up new users and customising their permissions go to our support page.
Or, you can book in a one-to-one call with our Priority Support team and they can assist you. https://myaccount.myob.com/account/support/priority-support-booking

I have customised certain permissions for employees but for example most of them need access to the sales and purchase section to do PO's and sale quotes/orders, but that is all they do. So they don't need to see the aged payables and receivables, or overdue bills/invoices for that matter at a "quick glance".

We had staff today talking between each other asking! does our company have enough money to run the business! Also asking if they left, would the company have enough to pay their termination payout! The tiles on the screen need to go! everyone knows only Finance and accounts need to know this information only. This is a huge risk to staff retention! and let alone staff moral! I can't believe myob would think putting confidential information on the sales and purchase screen would be a benefit to any company ever!

And MYOB might say well they may have already had access but 99pc of them wouldn't have looked and those of us who know what the figures mean, know that the info is only as up to date as the bank rec or whether customer payments are up to date, if there is any catching up to do, these figures are way out of reality which is why most of us don't use this snap shot info which tells me that non-daily users and non-business people made these changes. Just because something is possible, doesn't mean it's useful! Whenever I train new staff in the command centres, i always point out the bank balance they can see in the spend or receive money sections and say please don't think that bank balance is accurate, it's only as up to date as the info in there, we don't use it as any measure at all.
