Hi,
I have spent a number of hours fixing access.
The explanation of Member Access has always been very confusing .
So how I fixed this button debacle regarding P&L details etc is to go back try once again to understand Managing Access and Roles and fixed this.
I had from the beginning set all my users up as Administrators.
First mistake.
They had access to everything but my users were never going to be that adventurous and at any point in time nothing is finalised or up to date. So I wasnt worried. Untill now the P&L button is right in their face.
This included Accountant BookKeeper and Administrator.
So what I needed to do is remove them as Admisinistrator and invite them as online users where you can set up restrictions
I have stopped access to Accountant Bookkeeper and ticked what they needed any other roles.
They have been working for days now and they have the correct access but no view of high level information.
There is a link that shows what access each role has https://www.myob.com/au/support/myob-business/business-settings/manage-users/default-user-roles
You can restrict reports thta employees have access to
I have been using MYOB from about 1995. This Access and role set up has always been confusing and to me alot of experimentation to now get right after this update.
Hope this helps
Hi,
I have always had the right user access, My issue is that sales and the store persons use the sales and the purchase order sections on the command centre all day. The tile on these 2 sections show Ages payables and outstanding invoice etc, Ages receivable and outstanding bills etc. The tiles need to go!

That is the exact situation with my office! They don't need to have quick access to payables, receivables and outstanding invoices (which is showing incorrectly anyway).

Hi, You can turn off the overdue bill and overdue invoice tile in the sales and purchases sections. The information comes from the to-do list. If you turn off the to-do list for each user as below. This is one consolation! to the Command Centre tiles.
I was given this information from Myob this week after many interactions with them.
Its possible to disable this tile with below settings.
Manage Roles -> Purchases -> General -> Untick To-Do list
