We have a client whose invoices may total approx 300,000 per month so the fee would be huge. Do you really think the client is going to pay an extra $5,400 plus 25c per invoice $75.00 for the invoices at 0.25c each. I really dont think the client would pay the sort of extortion. I started the verification process but I cant finish it due to the documents required. What happens. Can I still do the save to PDF and email???????
Hey Hjones1
If you need help throughout the verification process, you can lodge a support request from your My Account dashboard and our financial services team can reach out and assist accordingly. Once the verification is complete, online payments will be switched on however you will be able to toggle it on/off based on your preferences.
If you do not complete the verification process, you will be able to manually save and email out your invoices.

Hi Amanda
I am more than happy to verify the business for all the correct reasons. BUT, in doing that, I HAVE TO tick the box to sign a direct debit for fees. We will NOT use the secure payment option and allow MYOB this money grab. Our customers pay via EFT. The business Director refuses me to tick that box in the verification process. HOW do I verify the business without signing the direct debit? This is totally unacceptable. Please let me know how to verify the business without signing a direct debit to MYOB. Thanks

Hi PF_1 , because the secure invoicing platform combines multiple features into a single workflow (eg secure distribution of invoices and secure payments) this requires an update to the direct debit agreement.
Your existing direct debit agreement is most likely for a fixed amount (monthly subscription cost) but if the secure payments feature was used, then there would be variable monthly fees and the direct debit agreement needs to reflect that.
Of course the secure payments feature can be disable after the upgrade is completed, but the direct debit agreement still needs to be in place and also makes it easier for you to adopt this feature in future if your business needs were to change.

Hi Mike
Thanks for the reply. Can you please give me a link on how to disable the secure payments?
