I wont be using secure payments ..So can you tell me what the difference is between me sending an invoice from MYOB and me printing scanning and manually sending an invoice by email, for it to be paid via EFT bank transfer. I don't get how blocking the email invoice from MYOB is going to effect cyber crime or fraud as it will be still coming from MY email address
it makes no sense explain that to me Magic Mike
Its so dumb of MYOB, I use a PDF printer and email template, my clients are receiving the exact same email and invoice as they would have when I used to be able to have MYOB create the email and send via Outlook.
It takes extra time and inconvenience and there is a greater chance of errors because of some manual processes.
There is nothing more secure about MYOB not allowing me to do it the "old way".
All it has achieved is another annoyed MYOB customer who is actively looking at alternative software for a switch at the start of the new financial year.

Hi Gmac2016 - please see my previous reply to member '32762' on the difference between sending it yourself versus sending it via the MYOB platform

Hi Mike,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
In the past I could use the "send to" function to send an email copy of an invoice
MYOB would then create an email in Outlook complete with the email address for the customer and invoice as PDF attachment.
The invoice was then sent external to MYOB via my Outlook email.
Unless I have missed something or have an error I can no longer do this.

This is rediculous that the sending of invoices through Outlook is also restricted because printing them and then sending manually through Outlook is the EXACT same result.
The Invoice is not coming from MYOB, like it does if you use MYOB to send invoices for you.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for re-enstating my ability to post on the forum
Oh, and while I have a moment to be even further of assistance to fellow users of MYOB, I would like to point out a potentially handy printing tool I have recently trialed - Its available at black ice dot com and the handy tool helps you print directly to an email.
Its called Print2email. What sets this tool apart from printing to PDF is that it does all the attaching for you.
It may even help address it, but I was not able to confirm this function before my trail ended. It is very feature-rich, so I think it could be of assistance and may have many uses, not just MYOB.Talk to Jozsef, he was helpful.
