And JillJACS you are not the only one. I'm a BAS agent, a bookkeeper and a customer of MYOB of easy 30 years. I'm copping so much flak over this from my clients especially those having to provide Trust documents. Come on MYOB work it out, no-one's happy. Should be an opt in or opt out decision by the client. If security is really your focus and not revenue from merchant fees, redesign the initiative please, it's just not working.

This upgrade process has been underway for about 14 months now and we have certainly had a lot of feedback, particularly in the Community Forum here.
Opt-in rather than Opt-out for the Online payments feature has probably been the loudest.
There will be a change coming where we aim to move to completing business verification at the time a customer first starts using the invoicing feature.
Transitioning our existing customers was important for us as we took these steps to help reduce invoice fraud in Australia, provide more security to our customers with their invoicing and provide safer, faster payment methods for our customers as well.

Comeon Mike. Whether it has been going on for a day of 14 months it is totally irrelevant. The relevant matter is the MYOB arrogance. So don't try to defend the undefencible. I know you are doing your job, but come at least don't insult our intelligence on top of everything else.
