Just updated our company file this evening and first impression is 'what the hell is this disaster' and 'is this real or have I been hacked?'. Too many distracting options across the top of each command centre home screen, fonts and setting out with all those bigger longer arrows and bigger plain boxes is not so much a sleek modernised new look as delving into some old square DOS looking system. Home command screen fonts and buttons no longer match fonts and buttons within each individual command screen, and that definitely messes with my OCD. Sorry, don't like it at all and find it slows me down because there's too much going on :-( Abort please!!
Totally agree.....The new update was designed by a child!!!
AmandaMYOB​ is there anyway users have an option to revert back to the old version????
Honestly the worst update in MYOB history!
The screen is neither user friendly and or pleasant to look at let alone navigate!
Why MYOB just why!
I think who ever was on the design team needs to have his or her qualifications reviewed!
As a user of MYOB for over 30 years this update has possibly confirmed the fact that it is time to change to Xero!

I've been on MYOB for more than 20 years and I dont think Im going to get used to this new Command Centre. Its absolutely horrid and unprofessional looking. Maybe Xero will be a better option.

Absolutely agree ! We have used MYOB Accountright for 26 years and this is the first time it looks like a high school student has designed this with a Ruler on a piece of paper for the visually impaired. Absolutely embarrassing to have this open on our screen in the office. Doesnt look professional at all. I agree, the person who re-designed this, needs to revert it back. Xero is definitely getting closer for us ...
New "updated" version - seriously?? Updated by a 15 year old?
Does anyone at MYOB actually use their product on a daily basis and stare at that screen - because seriously who agreed that it looks good? or are they colour blind?
I have been using MYOB for over 25 years - I agree I would rather learn a new accounting software than use this

There isn't an option to revert back to the old command centre. Once updated, you will have the new command centre display going forwards.
AmandaMYOB​ perhaps this is something that MYOB should look at rather than just make an update that many users are not happy about. Now looking into the update further, MYOB has effectively made it easier for MYOB customer that have the multi-user software to have their employees have ready access to company financial information.
The fact that access to Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet information is now readily accessible on the Accounts tab rather than having to drill through reports is not a change that is welcomed!
That users have displayed information about outstanding sales and purchases, and with a click of a button can readily access these reports is something that as a business is not a warranted or necessary change.
Particular business have data entry only personal who do not require, or should not be privy to this financial information, and now MYOB has decided that its ok to display this on the home tab and at a click of a button users can access to company financials.
There are many of us that don't want staff having such ready access to that information, but clearly the developers never thought about that. Makes me wonder if myob have any idea at all about how the software is being used.
