Hi SDuddy , each person who logs into the software requires their own access and therefore their own 2FA.
If someone were to leave a business, it would only affect their own login access to the software so will have no impact on the wider business.
I imagine the scenario you mention means that you have multiple employees sharing a login, this should not be done and you can learn about managing users here so that you can give each employee their own access.
Mike_MYOB we do not share logins. But the logins are email based, and the email is based on the role, not the person's name. If the person leaves, we change the password on the email and continue to use the same email. That way our customers are not disrupted.
Can an administrator still change the password on the MYOB login without needing a code from a mobile phone which is the personal phone of a former employee?

Hi SDuddy , is your current 2FA method set up as email?
This move for SMS 2FA for most people will be a secondary method of 2FA, one of the benefits is that you can choose which method you use when authenticating.
You will still be able to log in to myaccount.myob.com using another method and then update the phone number associated with 2FA.- rickfrankel5 months agoMember
Mike_MYOB Please stop saying one of the benefits. There are zero benefits in this, other than reducing the security of your account. If MYOB hasn't realized from this thread that they need to immediately stop this then there is a bigger problem.
