The MYOB PayGlobal API is officially in market for supported PayGlobal Online integration scenarios. It provides a secure way for external systems to exchange data with PayGlobal in real time or near real time, helping reduce manual rekeying, one-off file jobs and reconciliation effort.
Example use cases
- Automated onboarding: Send new-hire information from an ATS or HR system into PayGlobal.
- Employee master synchronisation: Keep core employee information aligned between MYOB PayGlobal and your HR or people systems.
- Selected data-out workflows: Retrieve supported information such as payslips and leave balances for downstream systems or digital worker processes.
The API includes validation and error handling to support more reliable, scalable integrations as your workforce and technology ecosystem grow. It is suited to PayGlobal Online customers with an integration project and the capability to use REST/JSON, middleware or an implementation partner.
The API is designed for system-to-system integration. If your primary need is scheduled data for BI, analytics or warehousing, a data-out option such as Data-on-Demand may be a better fit.
An API that continues to evolve
The API is in active development, with ongoing enhancements shaped by customer feedback and common payroll integration needs. The current direction includes expanding employee and leave scenarios, alongside future scenarios such as timesheets/payroll imports, rostering, GL/finance, and potential webhooks.
The roadmap below is an indicative example of the product direction. Priorities, scope and timing may change as development progresses and customer needs continue to shape the API.
An expanding vendor ecosystem
We’re already working with vendors and implementation partners on practical employee onboarding and employee-update scenarios. This includes bringing new-hire data into PayGlobal and keeping employee records aligned when details change upstream.
Current work spans ATS/HR systems and workforce platforms, with the vendor and partner list continuing to grow. Our aim is to make integrations simpler to implement, easier to support and more repeatable, reducing the need for bespoke, one-off file jobs for each customer or vendor.
