Introducing the MYOB PayGlobal API
3 MIN READ The MYOB PayGlobal API is officially in market for supported PayGlobal Online integration scenarios. It provides a secure way for external systems to exchange data with PayGlobal in real time or near real time, helping reduce manual rekeying, one-off file jobs and reconciliation effort. Example use cases Automated onboarding: Send new-hire information from an ATS or HR system into PayGlobal. Employee master synchronisation: Keep core employee information aligned between MYOB PayGlobal and your HR or people systems. Selected data-out workflows: Retrieve supported information such as payslips and leave balances for downstream systems or digital worker processes. The API includes validation and error handling to support more reliable, scalable integrations as your workforce and technology ecosystem grow. It is suited to PayGlobal Online customers with an integration project and the capability to use REST/JSON, middleware or an implementation partner. The API is designed for system-to-system integration. If your primary need is scheduled data for BI, analytics or warehousing, a data-out option such as Data-on-Demand may be a better fit. An API that continues to evolve The API is in active development, with ongoing enhancements shaped by customer feedback and common payroll integration needs. The current direction includes expanding employee and leave scenarios, alongside future scenarios such as timesheets/payroll imports, rostering, GL/finance, and potential webhooks. The roadmap below is an indicative example of the product direction. Priorities, scope and timing may change as development progresses and customer needs continue to shape the API. An expanding vendor ecosystem We’re already working with vendors and implementation partners on practical employee onboarding and employee-update scenarios. This includes bringing new-hire data into PayGlobal and keeping employee records aligned when details change upstream. Current work spans ATS/HR systems and workforce platforms, with the vendor and partner list continuing to grow. Our aim is to make integrations simpler to implement, easier to support and more repeatable, reducing the need for bespoke, one-off file jobs for each customer or vendor. A significant moment for MYOB PayGlobal The API is more than a new feature, it’s a significant new product capability for the MYOB PayGlobal ecosystem. Bringing the API to market is an important milestone for our customers, partners and the MYOB team. It also demonstrates MYOB’s commitment to supporting and growing the PayGlobal community. We’re continuing to invest in capabilities that help customers connect with the wider technology ecosystem, move confidently to PayGlobal Online and get more value from a platform that supports complex payroll at scale. Single Touch Payroll Reporting Patch 4.78.0.3 released
2 MIN READ We're getting in touch to let you know that an additional patch is required for the latest MYOB PayGlobal 4.78 release to resolve a Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting issue. Without this patch, the following may occur: In some employee scenarios, including working holiday makers and inbound assignees, single touch payroll (STP) reporting is incorrectly classifying deductions, which may result in them being reported incorrectly to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Patch 4.78.0.3 is now available, which resolves this issue. Please note that this patch supersedes 4.78.0.2. You can view the release notes here. Next steps Patch 4.78.0.3 will resolve the issue for new STP report submissions. If you have reported submissions using an earlier version of 4.78 (including 4.78.0.2 patch), you should re-submit using version 4.78.0.3. If you have any concerns about meeting your STP reporting timeframes, please advise the ATO. MYOB PayGlobal Online customers We'll upgrade your solution to the latest version with patch 4.78.0.3 included. This version will be deployed by 8pm AEST, Tuesday 30 June 2026. There is no system outage for this deployment, so you can operate as normal. MYOB PayGlobal On-premise customers If you have upgraded your Test or Production environments to version 4.78 (including 4.78.0.2 patch), please apply patch 4.78.0.3 as soon as possible. If you've not upgraded to version 4.78 – please upgrade to the latest version 4.78.0.3.
