Payroll Clearing Account

Question

Good morning,&nbsp;I process payroll fortnightly and I always match the transaction in the Bank Feeds (without any issue).I have noticed that there are 4 transactions on the Payroll Clearing account.&nbsp;Do you know why this has been happening? How could it be fixed?&nbsp;Please, find attached the payroll clearing account report.&nbsp;Thanks in advance.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I can see that there are four transactions in your Payroll clearing account. Please check this thread and this other response as they have detailed information on how it can be fixed.

Hi Jem,&nbsp;Thanks for your message.Could you please clarify this to me?The transactions were matched in the Bank Feeds when they were processed.Should I go to Spend Money and pay from CBA General Account and then add the payroll clearing account and amount? - Please, find attached a screenshot.&nbsp;Thank you.

Hi Paula3,
&nbsp;
In order to clear the balance in that account, we would recommend speaking to your accountant to check if they can do a journal entry to move it to another account before inactivating it.
