Change default save location for ABA files

Hello,

 

Is there any way to change the default location for the ABA files?

 

Every time I do an electronic payment, I add to the front of the default name a brief note as to what the payment if for like 'Nov rent' this way in my online banking I can see at a glance what each file might contain if I need to check up later, then press enter. 

 

Then I spend the next half an hour combing through the computer folders trying to find it.

Most times it’s easier to delete the transaction and redo it though the ‘Prepare Electronic Payment’ again.

 

I have a fold on my desktop for this kind of stuff, so I can easily find it. Not waste my time.

 

When I do a back up it remembers my last location, so why can’t the ABA file function remember?

    Hi Perpetual_Maint 

     

    As bank files can be edited outside of MYOB, and do not have the option to make them password protected like the backups, we encourage users to store them securely and double-check the data before uploading payments. This is why the default location will always be the same.  

     

    If it's easier, you can either choose the folder on your desktop before hitting save, otherwise the location will always default to - C:\Users\user.name\Documents\MYOB\AccountRight\Current - if you wanted to copy that location somewhere so that it is easier to find the folder when you are looking for it to upload.
