Reports

Have updated to Account Right 2020.2 - reports are not migrating to Excel?

  • Hello KimASCL

Can you confirm the error message you see looks like this (with your relevant information):

This occurs when files are missing from the directory or when there is a permissions issue blocking access. In other words, if the .XLT files are not in the folder location that is specified in that message, the software cannot find them, or if you do not have the permissions to work with that data, you would get this message. Please try reinstalling the AccountRight software, making sure any antivirus software is disabled, and run the installer as Admin (right click Run as Administrator). Let me know how you get on.

    Hello KimASCL

In order to better assist you, I will need some more information about what you are experiencing. What report(s) are you attempting to export? Does this happen with all reports, or only some? Are you receiving any error messages - if so, what?

On the other hand, are you able to export but no information is showing up in Excel, or is the button to initiate the export process greyed out and unable to be clicked on? Please do let us know the details of your situation and I will be happy to investigate this further for you.

  • Hi.  They are all reports that should be able to export to Excel.  The error message is:

    c:\users\public\documents\myob\accountright\2020.2\reports\spreadsheet\aprecons.xlt

    Thanks
