Also, when you mentioned a number of keys, what are those keys? are those keys for Authentication for our APP?

Also, what is the difference between the new Essential API and Accounting right?

Sorry I am new to MYOB and a bit lost where to start.

Yes that is correct The API key is needed to complete Authentication for your app. Once you've registered and your developer account is created, to gain the API key and secret you will need to log into your my.MYOB and click on the developer's tab.

In terms of the API, there is no difference between AccountRight and New Essentials. This is something to be mindful of as AccountRight has some features that are not available in New Essentials. We have created a table that shows what endpoints are available for what Essential program. You can view this HERE.

I registered for a developer account using this link: Developer Registration Request .

Now, do I need to wait for Myob to send me login details to login in https://my.myob.com.au ? 

Or I need to register our APP using register your software now link on the page?

Thank you for the update. What I have just done is created this developer account for you. Now you've registered and your developer account is created, to gain the API key and secret you will need to log into your my.MYOB and click on the developer's tab. To access the Developers tab in your my.MYOB account you need to make sure that you have the correct account selected. Once you are logged into the my.MYOB website, in the top right-hand side of the screen there is be a drop-down menu beside sign out. Make sure that your developer account is selected in this drop-down. Once that is done the Developers tab should appear. From here you need to click on the Register App button and enter in the details relating to your app. Developer key registration tips.
