Profit & Loss Report

Question

Help! I'm new to MYOB in 2018.&nbsp; I'm trying to run Profit &amp; Loss Report for 2018 however I keep receiving the following error message, so I'm thinking I may have set-up the Financial Period incorrectly at the beginning of 2018. &nbsp; Note: MY FINANCIAL PERIOD IS JAN 2018 to DEC 2018 (not Jul to Jun).&nbsp;&nbsp;Attached are screen shots of the report parameters I'm entering, the error message and also my company set-up. &nbsp; I hope someone can help as I have an AGM meeting this afternoon and need to present this date.&nbsp;&nbsp;TYIA&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Looking at the attached information, I can see that your company file is setup with January being the last month of the financial year. So in the eyes of AccountRight the financial year runs from February to January and not January to December, which is why you are receiving the error about the dates not being in the same financial year.
&nbsp;
In terms of correcting this, it is possible to adjust the financial year. If you are close to rolling into a new financial year, when you go through the process of closing the existing financial year you can choose to change the last month of the financial year for the next year.
&nbsp;
The only other way to correct this would be to start a new file with the correct financial year dates, and then enter in any missing information.
