Why can't I change my subscription level?

I have been using MYOB Premier in all it's variations for 20+ years.  Our business is now sold.  We are retired and I want to  change my subscription level to something more appropriate ie pay less each month acknowledging I will have access to less features - mainly features I no longer need.  I wrote to support (which was acknowledged with a job#) last Monday and sent a reminder a few days later but have heard zippedy doo da.

Can someone from MYOB please assist?

    Hi TTO,

Thank you for being a loyal customer of MYOB Premier for over 20 years. About your recent business transition and retirement, if you want to change your subscription to a plan that better fits your current needs, I suggest contacting our Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount to discuss the available subscription options and ensure the features you still need are included. You may also check this link about MYOB Plans and Pricing for product references.

    Regards,

Hi Shelly.  Thankyou for your response.  My original approach was to create a support case for which I have received a case number.  Just no actual response apart from the automatic email with the case number.  Very disappointing.  The MOCA is useless in my circumstances.  I tried it too and it could not assist.    I have a perpetual license which is well and good but but not worth $200/month any more.

Service from MYOB has degraded as it obtains more subscribers and pricing is too high. If you can assist it would be appreciated or it’s cancel and go to Xero which my accountant prefers.  🙁

    Hi TTO

If you received an automated response, your email is likely still in the queue, and you will get a reply as the email queues are high.

Since you have a perpetual license, one option is to cancel your subscription and use your file offline. You will lose most of the online functions like STP, Superannuation, and bank feeds, but you won't need to pay any monthly fees. this is good if you won't be using these services because you've already sold the business and just need the information for future reference.
