Delete bank feed transactions

I have an alert that I have exceeded the bank feed limit. I am looking at going back to loading files and disabling bank feeds, all together. As part of this I am tempted to delete all the data for the Financial Year and then reload it from flat files.

  1. Can I delete the bank feed transactions, so I can start again?
  2. Can I work out to where the bank feeds have stopped so I can understand what manual transactions are required?

    Hi heimdal,

I appreciate your reaching out. I see that you're thinking about removing your bank feed transactions and starting over. You also want to know where the bank feeds stopped to figure out what manual entries are needed. Let's break this down:

    1. Indeed, you can delete your bank feed transactions. You have two choices for handling these old transactions. You can either hide them from your bank feeds or request our team to delete them. However, please keep in mind that our team can only remove all transactions within a certain date range.
    2. Finding where bank feeds stopped could be a bit tricky. If you have the account details beforehand, you might be able to track the feed until it's complete. But the details could vary based on your situation and the software you're using.

For immediate assistance, please reach out to our virtual assistance, MOCA, on our website or submit a support request via My Account.

Feel free to create a new post again if you need help.

    Kind regards,

    Shella

    Thanks Shella

Your response to point 2, almost guarantees I will move away from bank feeds. Not being able to work out what transaction have been loaded and what have not, means I have to manually reconcile the data in MYOB to the bank statement. This is much easier in Excel. So the only way to guarantee accuracy is to go back to doing it manually.
