  • Hi HurryupHarry

Thanks for your post. In the browser version of AccountRight Find transactions is in the Banking menu. To search for employee pay transactions, click on Transactions tab, select Payroll as the Source Journal and enter the employee name in the search field.

    Hi HurryupHarry

If pay transactions aren't appearing try changing the filters. If you've entered a name into the search field remove the name as this field is filled based on the Pay slip message field in the employee card>>Payroll details>>Standard pay.

If you're still having trouble with this please provide details and screenshots so that I can assist further.

    Hi HurryupHarry

As explained in my previous reply the Search field is based on the Pay slip message field in the employee card>>Payroll details>>Standard pay.

Go to Payroll>>Employees>>open that employee card>>Payroll details>>Standard pay tab and check what is entered in to the Pay slip message field. If Gabriella is not entered into the Pay slip message field no search results will be found. You will need to search by the text entered into the Pay slip message field. You can change this text to the employee name if that suits your requirements.

Please let me know if you need further help.

OK, well that's of absolutely no use, to not be able to search by a card name is pointless

Why the browser version isn't at least as good as the desktop app is beyond me

I'll be going back to my boss and telling them I can't use MYOB with the Macs the whole company has switched to.

It'll be down to them whether Finance stay on Windows or MYOB gets ditched
