Date of Myob Updates

Hi there - we are having an "issue" with the timing of Myob Updates and working with the Myob App (not the browser) and the fact that everything is done through a offsite cyber company server. So when we open our computers we sign into to server which creates our own desktop which is exclusive to the individual logging in. We use the Myob App as its functionality is quicker, easier and better than the browser. Our problem happens when Myob runs its monthly update (which I've found is not consistently a particular date), then we can't log into the Myob App as it needs updating - so we ring our server company and ask them to run the update "now" as we can't log in to process work. Yes, we could possibly log into the browser - but we don't want to use the browser - we pay to use the app. The cyber company is getting angst and says it's better to do the update in the evening  - which is fine if we knew when the update was going to happen.

Can MYOB please send out a notification of the date they are going to run the update a day or two in advance of running it, and then actually run it on that date. If this already happens and I'm missing some sort of notification  then please advise how I find out about this. Thank you 😊

    I get that you need this kind of notification to make things more convenient. It would be great to post this on the Ideas Exchange board so the development team can see it.

      Thanks for responding, much appreciated & I will post of the ideas board.  It's not really about convenience - it's about being able to open MYOB and start work for the day. We pay to use the app which has more functionality than the browser, is quicker and can have multiple screens open without any drama. We unfortunately can't use the app if an update has occurred without me being able to pickup that an update has happened when I've used my own laptop for other clients. We need to know when an update is going happen so that our server guys & gal's can run the update before we go to use Myob.
