Annual tax report

hi 

 

In attempting to view annual tax report  I can only see  report named " Taxable payemnts annual report "

and when clicking on that I can only see an option in the right upper corner in green saying " create taxable payement file".  When clicking on that there is a list of details to enter then "download"

 

The file gets downloaded but in C01 format which my computer unable to open .

 

Is there any way I can get the report in PDF for my viewing ?

 

what application can I used to open this file otherwise ?

    Hi Cosmetic 

    Thank you so much for your post and Welcome to the Community Forum!  I'd recommend to export the report to PDF. To export reports Go to the File menu (as circled below). Hover over Export to view the list of file format options. Portable Document Format: Select the PDF option if you want to view or print the report later and keep the same format and appearance that's used in AccountRight.

    Hi Earl 

     

    Unfortunately I am unable to follow your suggestion. Please see attached screenshot. 

    When I got and select PDF , then export, I get a report that is empty and has no  zero amount . 

     

    When I click on the green button in the right top corner ( see attached ) , I get to fill some details there then click download ( you have no choice on the type ), then it download as C01 format 

     

    I lookforward to hearing from you about an advice.

    Thank you so much for the screenshot. In that case, can you please try to export the report and select the PDF format? Here's a help article that has information about: Exporting reports.

    Hi Cosmetic 

     

    What report exactly are you wanting to generate?

     

    The Taxable Payments Report is a report some are required to upload to the ATO and is required in a TPAR.C01 format. This is a report of payments to certain types of contractors in certain industries, such as Building, Freight etc.

     

    You seem to be after an Annual Tax Report - there is no such report in MYOB. What is this report meant to show?

    Hi Gavin 

     

    Exactly I am after an annual tax report. As a contractor , it would be nice to have at least a rough idea of my past annual tax report before filing data with ATO. 

     

    It seems there is no such report  with MYOB.

    Hi Cosmetic 

     

    Please explain what an Annual Tax Report usually shows. This is not a 'thing' in Australia. We have a Profit & Loss Report that shows your income and expenses, and how much 'profit' you made. We have a GST Report that shows how much GST was collected and how much was paid. There is no specific report for how much income tax you paid as how income tax is paid and how it is recorded varies from business to business. If you want to work out how much you have paid the ATO in instalments, this will depend on how your recorded this in MYOB.
