Cannot select text/move cursor in invoice fields..

Ever since that invoice layout update a few weeks ago I have been unable to select text or move the cursor/caret with the mouse within the invoice fields (description, category, amount etc). I can navigate them using the arrow keys but it is super annoying & time consuming. Still works fine in the 'notes to customer' box down the bottom though... Has anyone else had this issue?

  • Hi Garth45,

     

    Sometimes unusual issues can mess with your workflow. Could you try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps? Cached data can sometimes cause unexpected problems. Also, it might be a good idea to test with a different layout to check if the issue still happens. I tried replicating the issue on my end, and everything seems to be working fine, so it might be something specific to your setup. If the problem still happens, you could also try using a different browser.

    Clearing cache did nothing. I'll try it in chrome (running in firefox atm) if I have time later & report back.

    Looks like a Firefox issue, works fine in chrome. Any suggestions on a remedy? (complain to Mozilla? lol) I dont really want to run two browsers & prefer FF...

  • Same problem here. Thanks for posting this and also for your following comment about using Chrome instead of Firefox. (I know there was a previous reason that I used Firefox for MYOB instead of Chrome, but now can't remember what. Seems to be working in Chrome currently.)

    Many browsers, including both Chrome and Firefox, save cached files that may occasionally cause issues like this or corrupted cached files. Clearing the cache periodically in your chosen browser can help resolve these issues and maintain optimal performance when using MYOB.
