Customer Billing Address Update

Hi all, just wanted to ask how we can amend the billing address reflected in a pre created invoice (invoice is already created in the past) however the billing address is incorrect. I changed the customer's billing address in the contacts tab but the billing address in the invoice is still not updated. Appreciate your support.

    Hi JEM_ESES,

     

    Welcome to the Community Forum! 

      

    When you update a billing address in the Contacts tab, it doesn’t automatically update on invoices that were knocked together before the change. To get the new billing address on those invoices, you'll need to reverse and create a new one with the correct details. 

      

    That said, once the customer’s billing address is updated, it’ll show correctly when you hit the preview button or send the invoice out again. The customer will spot the right details then. However, the original versions of the invoice will still display the old billing address when viewed on file.
