AccountRight SE 2021.3 Since update to the current version customised invoices are missing partial boxed lines in "balance due" and "amount due" on all invoices printed, emailed and saved as pdf. Attempts to correct via customised forms but no success.

Have you tried making a new form and seeing if the issue persists? This is to test if the old form is 'broken'. Secondarily, you can clear the AccountRight cache. If this is something happening sometimes but not always this should fix it.
Also, later this week the newest version of AccountRight (2021.4) will be available. Let me know if this still happens when you are on the newest version!
