Different email address for invoices to statements

Hi Brainstrust

 

In the new world of emailing invoices directly to accounting systems, is there a way of having the statements and reminder inovice emails being emailed to a different email address?

 

I know for my business, I have invoices going straight to MYOB, however, Statements I would like to receive them in my business email account.

 

I can't find anything in the help files to answer this question.

  • Hi Celia_B and the rest of the brains trust. 

    It has been 2 years since this question was asked and I am wondering if the development of this feature has progressed any further. We have the same issue with some of our larger customers and this is causing delays in getting message to the correct people in a timely manner.

    Thank you for your post. 

     

    We appreciate you expressing your concern for us. In this matter, we have clients who are now requesting that statements go to a different email address to where you email the invoices and to date when emailing statements from the MYOB app. You can only manually change the email address when at the email stage or print the statement and manually email it to a different address. We will pass this on to the relevant teams but will also recommend posting this as a suggestion on our Ideas Exchange board as that is reviewed by developers while considering the product.

  • This is a basic need for any current billing system to have. Any mid to large size business now has different areas to their billing system. Electronic receipt of invoices into many of our larger clients have different statement and invoice emails we are required to send to.  This is now becoming a significant enough issue for us that we are looking at changing billing products to another supplier.  

  • Agree Simone - is a huge downside that the product does not have the software set to let us choose which email address to use for statements separately to invoices - needs to be a basic requirement and anutomatic at card setup time.
