Emails are bouncing back

Hi,

Yesterday I sent out an invoice to a client and noticed that the email bounced back. I double checked that the email address was correct and then re sent it. It has bounced back again. The Diagnostic-Code = rejected. I am just wondering what can be causing this?

    Thanks for your post and Welcome to the Community Forum.

     

    As for your concern,  If you receive a message with a Rejected Code means that the recipient's end has rejected incoming email. Once the recipient whitelists emails with the domain apps.myob.com it usually stops the rejected messages. 

     

    To check this. Email an invoice to yourself. This will let you confirm the email address that the email is being sent from. Once you know this, provide it to the recipient so they can ensure it's whitelisted against any antispam systems they have set up on their email as well as add it to their address book within their email.

     

    If still not working, so we can check if the emails are blacklisted on our end, can you please send us the impacted email addresses by Private Message.

      Hi Cel,

      Thank you for your reply. I ended up sending the client their invoice from my personal email address and received an 'out of office' automatic reply. Just wondering if this could be the reason that the original email bounced back?

      Hi Celia_B,

      I just wanted to add that this has actually happened to a couple of other clients since the start of this month. One day the emails get through and then another day for some reason they have bounced back.

      I have tried to click on 'Private Message' to send through the email addresses but it is not working. Are you able to help me with this?
