Quirk in Recording Payment Method

anyone else noticed that if you record a payment method  (ie Credit Card, Direct debit, Cash etc) when in "Order" mode, it doesn't actually save the method.  So thus is shows up in the Undeposited Funds as blank.

However if you do it after you convert the order to an invoice and then record the payment it does.

You need this when reconciling between EFTPOS settlements, PAYPAL, Bank Deposits etc.  Especially when amounts are very similar.

Bit frustrating that you have do do extra steps just to get it to save, when ideally you want to record the payment upon taking the order.  and convert to an invoice once the order is dispatched.

Anyone else notice this?

    Hi AmandaRobertsC

In AccountRight, deposits work a bit differently; they go into a separate account and don’t always show the payment method field like regular payments do. They’re placed in the account to track deposits. You can check out this guide for more details on how the software handles deposits.
