Recurring Transaction income account wrong

Hi, 

 

In my recurring transaction and the customers card file an income account is selected. Howvere the sales are going to a different income account not sure why this would happen?

    Hi Chelsea6 , welcome to the forum. What kind of recurring transaction is it? For instance, if it was an item invoice, the sales income goes to the income account set by the item. The customer income account would only be used on a service invoice.

    Hi Mike,

     

    Thanks for your response. It is an item invoice but even when i look up the item tracking sales account it's still going to a different one. Is there another location the sales account could be coming from?

    Hi Chelsea6 , have you by any chance edited the income account on the item since the recurring invoice was created? If so, it may be that the recurring transaction does not automatically pick up those changes. I suggest that the recurring invoice is edited, and the line deleted and re-created.
