Suggested Function - Jobs search

We track and cost our jobs using the Jobs Number function. Each customer order has its own job number. However, when creating a new invoice and then creating a new job number within the Sales window, when you select New and create the job it does not currently input automatically into the Job Column field that you just used to create it. You have to remember to go back in and re-type the newly created number. It's one of those easy to forget steps. Is it possible to have a newly created job number populate that field automatically? Thanks Karen

    Hi Karen

Thank you for your suggestion, I'd be happy to pass on your feedback to the relevant team for future enhancement.

As a workaround, you could use the Easy Add button instead, as this does auto-populate the job number. Although it will default the newly created job with a job name of "New Job" and you would then edit the job later using the Jobs List to fill in extra details.

    Hope that helps.
