i am wanting to know how to change how you enter your customers into a sale - currently i am using the ID and wanting to change it to entering the actual name in. Can someone please help.

Thanks for your post. In Setup>>Preferences>>Windows tab untick Select Cards by Card ID, Not Card Name. You can then type part or all of the customer name into the Customer field when recording a sale.
