Time billing crashing when save order

Hi

Since the latest upgrade, we are unable to save orders created through Time Billing.

We can save if it is an invoice, just not orders.

We use this aspect of MYOB extensively

Can anyone assist please?

Are you getting any error message while trying to save it as an order? If yes, please attach a screenshot of the error and the detailed log here so we can investigate further.

Thanks Komal, we have narrowed it down to my computer only, the other two users are fine. I did try contacting support but over the course of almost two hours got bounced from one person to another and when put on hold for the third interminable time I had to move on to other work. I have been using other peoples computer when needing to do this task in the meantime.

    This is the error message.

    Hi SB2084

Sorry to hear about your experience with the phone based teams. We're aware of an issue where some users are presented with the error you attached above, and our teams are working on resolving this permanently.

This error usually occurs if you use the WIP button to add activities to the order or invoice. If you try recording the order after adding a batch of activities manually, are you then able to save it? This process ensures activities are  properly removed from the WIP window. Please let me know if another process is followed so I can then investigate further.

We enter all transactions into Time Billing, and use 'prepare time billing invoice', and change it from Invoice to Order.

    Not familiar with WIP

    Hi Komal,

Unfortunately that did not work. If it helps with the trouble shooting, I have been using a work around I found. I am able to save as a QUOTE, open the quote and THEN save as an order without it crashing.

Very frustrating and time consuming, but at least I can do my job at my own desk!

    Hi SB2084

Thanks for providing additional information on this. I've forwarded this to our teams and will post an update once anything around this changes.

    Hi Komal

This issue persists, and is causing me a lot of inconvenience as I have to use another computer for some of my work. The workaround I thought I had found is not one after all - if I create a quote in time billing and then convert to an order, the hours I picked up are not removed resulting in them being double billed.

Would appreciate if this could please be elevated to an urgent request?
    Many thanks

    Sarah

    Hi SB2084

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. At this stage, I do not have a further update on this but it's being looked at and I'll post an update once it's resolved.
