Base Hourly greyed out

Today we updated the Employee's hourly rate through the card file.

We use the Super Guarantee for the Building Industry instructions that MYOB provide.

Now the flat rate of the super is calculating correctly.

The superannuation category for super that is greater than the flat rate is not calculating at all.

On investigation we have found that the base hourly rate on each card is greyed out and inaccessible to amend.

See attached file. We can not edit the red circled areas and we need to be able to amend this.

This is urgent as we are unable to operate our payroll correctly.

Your help is much appreciated

  • Hi North1

Base Hourly and Base Salary are generic payroll categories in MYOB and come locked this way. Why would you want to edit these? Changing these will not fix the super issue. Check on the SG payroll category to see if you are Exempting something you shouldn't be.

If you do not some flexibility with Base Hourly here, create and use a new Payroll Category for example Base Hourly 1, Base Hourly 2 etc.
