Change financial year

Hi,

 

I am running a really old MYOB system, first edge v4! I am trying to get my profit and loss statement for the accountant, but it is stuck on year 22/23. Anyone know how to change it?

    Hey Dani72,

     

    Nice pickup on the P&L being stuck in 22/23, and running FirstEdge v4 is a blast from the past but you’re not stuck at all. Check your current year via:

     

    • Setup 
    • Company Information. 

    When you’re ready to move beyond 22/23, make a File > Back Up. Then go File > Start a New Year > Financial Year.

    Hi Doreen,

     

    thank you for taking the time to help me! I have tried that and I get a pop up saying “you may not move your financial year end more than 12 months”? I forgot to mention I’m using a Mac pc too?!

    Hi Dani72,

     

    That pop-up message "you may not...." just means you can’t move the financial year by more than 12 months. Mac steps are the same, so if it’s still playing up, flick me a screenshot with the dates you’re trying to set then give our live chat team a buzz via our virtual assistant MOCA or pop up a support ticket through My Account so that we can help you sort it out.
