End of Year Financials

Does anyone use MYOB to produce their clients EOF reports like in Xero? I have found report packs in MYOB but I can't work out how to add a prior year comparative to the profit & loss or bal sheet. apart from that I think the reprot packs will be good to use.

    Hey garycroese,

What I meant is that each file, whether you’re using AccountRight or MYOB Business, can only hold one logo at a time, so your client’s file won’t be able to switch between both logos automatically. If you want your firm’s logo to show on the reports you’re generating, you can follow Sai’s provided workaround to swap the logo before you export the reports. Once you're done, make sure to pop your client’s logo back in. That way everything comes out with the right branding without affecting what your client uses day to day.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

    Hi garycroese

Great to hear the EOFY reports are helping. You can definitely compare these reports to prior years. To add prior-year figures, open your P&L and Balance Sheet, go to Report options, tick “compare to last year” (and variance if you want), then save each one as a custom report (for example, “Comparative P&L” and “Comparative Balance Sheet”).

  • Thank you, that worked perfectly. I have built a report pack but now i would like to add my Practice Logo to the cover page in the report pack. can you assist?

I'd also like the date prepared to permanently off the cover page; is that possible

    Hi garycroese,

You can add your practice logo to reports by setting it up in your company file. Here's a link with the steps on how to do that: Adding your business logo or header image to your sales templates. The "Date prepared" can't be permanently removed from the cover page within MYOB, that part is system-generated. If you need a fully customised cover, exporting the report pack to PDF or Word and adjusting it outside MYOB is still the way to go.

i think this advice will see me adding my Accounting Firm's logo onto my clients invoices & financial reports, (which isnt correct). Does this make sense?

    Hey garycroese,

Yes, as each file can only have one logo at a time. If you have more queries about this, you can reach out to our team on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.

  • Can you confirm what I am asking is possible? Or is the question too hard for community or at least explain why you not answering my question?

I can confirm that going via my account | support ; doesnt appear to have a drop down option that suits my question. Nor does MOCA; so if you are steering me that way, pelase be more specific with your advice as at the moment your advice leads me no where Doreen
