Hi Doreen,
I have the exact same message when lodging an individual tax return. The original return did not have any foreign income and I have checked and there is no schedule for foreign income. I have checked all payroll information & there is no invalid characters.
I tried deleting the payroll prefill data and entering payroll information manually. I still get the same errors.
The link above did not work when I clicked on it.
Any other solutions?

Great step for checking the payroll information and making sure that there are no invalid characters. That might be a tough time lodging an individual tax return due to persistent errors, even after deleting and manually entering payroll information. Spoke to MYOB support. The issue has been resolved. Was relating to "Other Income" - Category1.
The return had and amount in code E -Assessible bal adj when you stop holding a dep asset.
Had to put a zero in the "Related to financial investment" & "Related to rental property" fields.
