Customer Sales Summary

I am trying to produce summary reports by customer, that show how many of each item the customer has bought in a period - quarter, FY, etc..  Say they buy 12 times a year varying skus and I want to just produce a summary of that customer and how many of each sku they bought, not a list of every time they have purchased?  If I could filter buy customer i the Item sales reports - that would work!

    Hi Acme_20_yr_cust

Just a heads up – there isn’t a report in the software that lets you filter by customer, item, and quantity all at once. If you’re happy to do a bit of manual sorting, you can run the Sales [Item Detail] report (though it won’t let you filter by customer), or go with the Sales [Customer Detail] report (but you won’t be able to filter by items). The Customer Detail one is usually a bit easier to work with, since the customer names pop up in the first column by default.

    Hope this clears things up!

    Regards,
    Genreve

It's funny, if you do a search it looks like you can do an item sales report and it suggests that you can filter by customer, BUT you can't.  Very annoying!
