Hey Sal22,
Thanks for the screenshot. You’re spot on that the Consolidate button will combine the selected files for the same report. This option only works when every file is in the same currency as the one you’re consolidating from, so an AU (AUD) file can’t be consolidated with an NZ (NZD) file. If you’re reporting across both entities, you’ll want to run separate P&L reports per currency, then compare or combine the outputs after export if needed. You can check this link for more info.
Cheers,
Doreen

Hi Sai,
Thanks for your reply. Where can I get information about the functionality of the attached screenshots, I had assumed that this would consolidate multiple files in the selected report?
Menu - Reports - Profit and Loss report
For context, we have one file now (AUD) but I need to get another for a NZ entity and am trying to ensure I get the right one with the functionality I want.

Hi Sal22,
Just to let you know, consolidated reports aren't available in the browser version of AccountRight, even if both files were using the same currency. The only way to consolidate at the moment is the old-school method: export the reports from each file and import/combine them into a single "master" file or spreadsheet. We've also got an article that runs through how consolidating works and the things you'll need to keep in mind: Consolidating reports for multiple company files.
Regards,
Sai
