SAE 3402 / SOC 2 Type 2 report for MYOB

Just following up on this, any chance there's a recent update on the reporting re: SOC1/ASAE3402 

Our auditors are also requesting for a similar report.

Currently, we don't have any information on when this report will be added to our software as MYOB does not currently provide service organization control (SOC) reporting. You can refer to this help page MYOB Compliance and Privacy for more information.

I would be interested once the documents are available. Our Advanced Clients are under Audits once a year or 2, this is common request.

MYOB doesn't follow SOC2 type reporting. Instead, we stick to the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Standard. You can check out MYOB’s ISO 27001 certification by referring to the certificate here.

The software still doesn’t have a SOC 2 Type 2 report. Instead, we rely on our ISO 27001 certification and the information on our Compliance and Privacy page as our main assurance for security and compliance.

Suppose you’re using MYOB Advanced / MYOB Acumatica and need a SOC 2 report for audit purposes. In that case, the next step is to raise a support case with MYOB Advanced support (or email businesssupport@myob.com) and request the Acumatica SOC 2 report for your site. This goes through a separate NDA process rather than being generated in the product.
